That's what I've been feeling for the past week.
I've been going out with my closest friends, and we would sit around together and laugh and talk about anything that was on our mind.
We went out for dinner, got our hair cut together and met up with some of our other friends and went home together.
I'm lucky to have them as my friends. "3"
Even today, I went to church with my family for the first time in 6 months, and I got to meet my old friends from youth group and old family friends.
I sat around with my sister and a family friend and we talked about things for about an hour and a half while our parents talked with each other.
At that moment, I was happy to know that I have such a good relationship with the people I know and I was also sad to see how everyone was growing up so fast.
Here were kids whom I've hung out with since I was at least 10 years old and here we are, 8 years later, still good friends and talking like we've known each other forever.
Lately I've been craving to bake.
Especially Japanese desserts.
My failure at making custard pudding didn't stop me; since I didn't have a steamer to steam my pudding with ;A;
I really want to bake a green tea cake.
And since my dad's birthday is coming up soon, I figured it would be a great opportunity to use a new recipe for a birthday cake, instead of the usual cake mix we would get from our local supermarket.
So, I'm going to go off topic for a minute.
My grandparents went to Korea about a month ago and they're currently staying with my uncle? I guess I can call him my uncle.
It's a complicated topic to roam on.
But more or less, me and my sister were thinking of ordering some things from Korea when they left, but we figured that we wouldn't and decided to leave it be.
But then, about two weeks ago I stumbled upon a site that had pretty cheap items, and I thought "Why not?"
So in total, we spent about a good $150 on items and as we speak they are being shipped and delivered to my uncle's doorstep.
And today, we were on our way to church and our parents were saying how it's they're last week in Korea and because of us ordering things, they're not leaving the house and waiting for the items to be delivered.
I understand that and all, but they've been there for about a month already, giving them plenty of time to catch up with family, do the whole tourist thing, and go shopping.
I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but it makes it look like me and sister are the bad guys.
Like because of us they can't leave the house?—
If that was going to be a huge problem in the first place, we wouldn't have ordered. -___-;;
Other then that, I miss them and I can't wait to see them on Thursday. <3
Time to engulf myself in anime and dramas.
As well as sample sketches for can you believe it? button designs.
and knitting a scarf; slow but getting there.
jneh signing out.
P.S I'm totally psyched for the winter season <3
