So it's been forever since I updated. But it always seemed that i didn't have enough time to sit down and type a decent entry about my day, or whatever boring thing I wanted to walk about. haha—
Well, to sum up my past 2 weeks I guess.
Ate at a new sushi place called "Maki Sushi" with my close friends. = It was Awesome. <3
Go eat there. love it. get stuffed.
I celebrated Christmas with the family of course= Ate all the dumplings my stomach can hold. xD
My relatives came over from Montreal for the weekend and we got to show them around Toronto.
Well, my cousins at least, my aunt went over to a sauna with my mom and brother for the day.
We took my cousins to:
- Pacific Mall = They are addicted to bubble tea now xD;;
- Downtown; Silver Snail(awesome comic book store) = They decided to start collecting Heroes action figures and bought Hiro. :3
- Downtown; Black Market (quaint vintage clothing store) = Went in to buy some clothes for paintballing and they ended up buying really nice hoodies.
- Downtown; Eatons Centre = apparently they have an Eaton's Centre in Montreal too, so they weren't too overwhelmed. D;
And then we basically walked around downtown like everyone else does.
Since it was boxing week, Most of the stores were having sales. We went into HMV and they were selling movies for $4-6, so we bought a bunch of movies and my cousin decided to buy Season 1 of Heroes.
Now, I heard of Heroes but never really got into it until my cousin suggested we watch the first episode.
...1 episode later I was captivated by it.
So in the end, we spent about 5 hours watching Heroes.
Each episode is about 40 minutes long, so think about how many I need to watch to catch up. ;A;
Time to watch more Heroes.

Wonder Boy.

Last night I officially finished 1 Litre of Tears. <3>
g; would you believe that I used up all the tissues in my tissue box? -___-;;This drama is about a 15 year old girl named Aya that was diagnosed with an incurable disease. She was smart, loved sports (basketball), was kind to everyone, always tried her best.
At first she doesn't easily accept her disease just like others who was also diagnosed with it. But with the help of her family and friends she accepts it and sees life differently. After 10 years of suffering, she dies at the age of 25.
This is a series that will definitely touch your heart. And give you courage to live on and make the most out of life. A series that might change the way you see the life in front of you.
"To be able to smile and tell everyone this; i have, at least, cried one litre of tears. "
- Kitou Aya.

On another note. I looked up the actor who plays the boy (as pictured above) and I found out that he's a singer along with sakura-something from My Boss, My Hero. <3 style="font-style: italic;">sakura-something: the boy with orange hair on the bottom right)
And I've recently started downloading their music
.
And I think I've been converted.
Lately I've been listening only to japanese and korean music non-stop.
And I've been speaking korean to my siblings when I'm at home, which is really weird because I always used to speak English to them. LOL xD
I guess I've been watchi
ng too many asian dra
mas <3 style="font-style: italic;">sakura-something was 19 when they filmed My Boss, My Hero. He looks like he's 15! >>

At the Beginning.
So this week, I've been stuck at my dad's office being a secretary.
Taking phone calls (and watching dramas/ anime.)
The secretary comes in around 12 o'clock everyday, and the office opens at 9.
and whoopie me, I get to sit in a chair for 3 hours before she comes.
I don't even get paid for this, which makes my life even more unenjoyable. >.<
But, anything to help my dad out right? :3
...maybe I'll blackmail him and ask him to buy me lunch. MUAHAHA—
I see Yogoberri from the window. ;A;
NUUU— come back to me xD
I need to go to Pacific Mall.
I am in need of a pair of leg warmers.
A new scarf.
Maybe a skirt
And a good serving of Curry fish balls.
Oh, how I love fish balls—
which reminds me... I have to look for the photobooth pictures I took from Pacific Mall a while back.
I don't know where they are.
I'm so saddened. D;
damnit, where are they hiding?!
I want to put them in this super-awesome picture frame I bought from Blacks a while back.
I neeeeeeeeeeed!—
Edit: I found it ;D
But anyways, apart from that.
I started watching "I Litre of Tears" and OMG, i swear, I cried more then 1 litre of tears. ;A;
Every episode I watched so far, I've been crying.
I'm pretty sure as the story line gets more intense, I'll start to ball
Damnit, I need more tissue -____-;;
I need something to do.
Well, go out and hang out and actually move around.
I've been stuck at home for most of the time.
And my god, it's so boring.
Maybe if it snows a bit more I can go snowboard frequently...
Well, I'm guessing since exams are over soon for my friends, I'll be going out more and actually doing stuff.
At home I've been baking and I finally got a chance to clean my room.
And you won't believe how much garbage came out of it.
- 20 empty water bottles
- a huge stack of paper/magazines that needs to be recycled
- 4 empty cups/mugs
Uggh, I have a problem with water bottles. once it enters my room, it never comes out for a good month.
But that only happens when I go to school.
If I'm on vacation, it cuts down to half as many bottles in my room.
It's a terrible habit...seriously.
Today's my dad's birthday, and yesterday I baked him a green tea cake ^^
Happy Birthday Daddy!—
time to go set up for his birthday dinner.

P.S I'm actually pretty surprised I'm updating frequently. If you look at my other journal, it has one post that says that I'll update often, but I never updated after that. -___-;; some dedication I have. LOL
P.P.S My grandparents finally return from Korea tomorrow night, I hope they had fun and I can't wait to pick them up from the airport. <3
P.P.P. S I absolutely love the airport <3
P.P.P.P. S would this be a post-post-post-post secret? x.x

Intermission.

"And in that moment, I swear we were infinite"
The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Great book. Buy it. Read it. Make Love to it.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower.
Great book. Buy it. Read it. Make Love to it.
That's what I've been feeling for the past week.
I've been going out with my closest friends, and we would sit around together and laugh and talk about anything that was on our mind.
We went out for dinner, got our hair cut together and met up with some of our other friends and went home together.
I'm lucky to have them as my friends. "3"
Even today, I went to church with my family for the first time in 6 months, and I got to meet my old friends from youth group and old family friends.
I sat around with my sister and a family friend and we talked about things for about an hour and a half while our parents talked with each other.
At that moment, I was happy to know that I have such a good relationship with the people I know and I was also sad to see how everyone was growing up so fast.
Here were kids whom I've hung out with since I was at least 10 years old and here we are, 8 years later, still good friends and talking like we've known each other forever.
Lately I've been craving to bake.
Especially Japanese desserts.
My failure at making custard pudding didn't stop me; since I didn't have a steamer to steam my pudding with ;A;
I really want to bake a green tea cake.
And since my dad's birthday is coming up soon, I figured it would be a great opportunity to use a new recipe for a birthday cake, instead of the usual cake mix we would get from our local supermarket.
So, I'm going to go off topic for a minute.
My grandparents went to Korea about a month ago and they're currently staying with my uncle? I guess I can call him my uncle.
It's a complicated topic to roam on.
But more or less, me and my sister were thinking of ordering some things from Korea when they left, but we figured that we wouldn't and decided to leave it be.
But then, about two weeks ago I stumbled upon a site that had pretty cheap items, and I thought "Why not?"
So in total, we spent about a good $150 on items and as we speak they are being shipped and delivered to my uncle's doorstep.
And today, we were on our way to church and our parents were saying how it's they're last week in Korea and because of us ordering things, they're not leaving the house and waiting for the items to be delivered.
I understand that and all, but they've been there for about a month already, giving them plenty of time to catch up with family, do the whole tourist thing, and go shopping.
I'm not trying to be mean or anything, but it makes it look like me and sister are the bad guys.
Like because of us they can't leave the house?—
If that was going to be a huge problem in the first place, we wouldn't have ordered. -___-;;
Other then that, I miss them and I can't wait to see them on Thursday. <3
Time to engulf myself in anime and dramas.
As well as sample sketches for can you believe it? button designs.
and knitting a scarf; slow but getting there.

Breath Again.
1 exam down, 1 more to go.
Today's exam wasn't that bad, it was easier then I thought.
So I'm relieved.
I also handed in my analytical research paper in today along with my in-class writing assignments, so I don't need to worry about going to lecture tomorrow ;3
I decided to spend my morning tomorrow studying for my exam as well as finishing my research paper.
I plan to finish my paper by tonight -doubt it- or tomorrow night -most likely-
I cannot wait until Thursday, which is technically my last day of school before the holidays.
Yup, I finish a bit earlier then others so I'm happy xD
Time for some mandarin-cosplay-sketching-snowboarding madness. ;D
Ahh— can't wait.
So, me and my close friends were planning on going on a ski trip the weekend before school started again for the second semester...but we had to cancel it because of some issues that came up. So for now the trip is cancelled...well, postponed is a better way of saying it.
I just don't understand how some people can be so oblivious to what's happening to them,
But there are times when you have to snap out of it and see for yourself what they are doing to you.
I just hope you wake up one day and realize what you're doing to yourself.
And what you did to your friends.
And to me.
1 more assignment and exam to study for.
I swear, I'll stop blogging about the work I have to do.
After Thursday, nothing but fun fun fun. <3
