So, I just came back from watching a special advance screening of the new movie Twilight with 3 of my good friends.
And it was the worst movie I have ever watched in my lifetime.
- it was choppy.
- it was awkward.
- it was too fast paced.
If you haven't read the book and went to go watch it, you probably won't know what's happening in the movie.
Let's take for example, Edward.
He, is supposed to have a velvety voice and yet it seemed he was forcefully trying to pull out words from his mouth.
I love Robert Pattinson as an actor, but I really think they should've let him keep his accent while they were filming.
His british accent would've made the movie better. "3"
He had no scenes what-so-ever where he actually talked.
I guess it was too hard to contain his accent. -_____-;; *sigh*
Even Robert Pattinson himself rated this movie a 2.5/5... I totally agree.
You don't even know what part you're at, first you're at a fight scene...and all of a sudden it's the prom..
My sister boycotted the whole movie watching experience ever since the announcement came out. Kudos to her.
I wish I did that too.
In the book it builds up the relationship of Edward and Bella— in the movie they meet and greet, and then they're telling each other how that they are "in LOVE"
Bella— she sounded so monotone in the movie...and had a deeper voice then Edward.
my gawdd....
I can't even describe how bad the movie was.
I think they could've done sooo much more with the movie.
I just seems they wasted many months filming random scenes and just sticking them together to make a 2 hour movie...
And from the looks of it, it looked like a low-budget movie.
Like the meadow scene? when Bella sees Edwards beautiful body in the glimmering sun?
It was a mossy green forest, with literally 6 flowers and a little beam of light; which looked totally fake. -____-;;
Sorry for the post being so choppy...I'll try to make it better next time.
I just, I don't know.....so disappointed about the movie.
The book was good and all.
The movie just brought down all the glamour about it.
WAS TOTALLY OVERRATED.
I guess that's it for now, I'll write more as I think more about the uber-failure of the movie.
jneh signing out.
