and you said we were too old to trick-or-treat. ;D

it seems that I haven't posted in a while...well, I did. But that was a brief update right?
haha— well anyways, happy belated Halloween everyone! :3
get lots of candy? crazy costumes?

Well, this weekend was pretty slow.
On friday, one of my friends had a Halloween party at his house. =]
It was basically a get together with my old friends and we cooked and watched movies together.
I miss the old times D; But I had a lot of fun. It brought back all the good times we spent together.
Well, we still do, but we all go to different schools so it's hard to match everyone's schedules together.
I didn't get to trick or treat this year, this is the first year I didn't go outside to get some free goodies. shocking right?
You might be thinking...
Well, you're too old to go trick or treating.
But I say nay! No one's never too old to go trick or treating...
Well, there are limits, but it's all in the spirit of dressing up right? <3
If anyone's wondering, I dressed up as a geek this year. ;D
Bowtie, glasses, the works!

Saturday I had a pretty long shift at the pool. 6 hours?
4 hours teaching and 2 hours guarding...what.fun.
But the good part was that I was able to bond with my fellow co-workers.
When I first started off, it was uncomfortable to sit in the guard office.
Since I was new, I didn't really have a reason to talk with them during breaks
So I would sit there, look at my phone and listen to what they were saying.
They all had their own insides jokes and updates on what happened to "so and so" and "what's his face" and i would occasionally laugh along with them...well, nervous laughter.
But now, I can talk freely to them, and that makes me happy =]
I had one lesson, where one of the kids didn't want to swim, and he would always say no and called me evil for making him swim...but it's my job right?
So at the end of the lesson, we're all getting out of the pool and he goes:
Will I ever see you again?!
And I was suddenly so flattered. LOL cute right?

Today was daylight savings day, one extra hour! yes!
I planned on starting on my essay early in the morning but as always I put it off until later.
But luckily, I started a biiit earlier this time. 7 pm. haha—
And I finished about 10 minutes ago; fresh off the printer!
Well, I guess that's about it for my weekend.
Now, time to dig into the halloween candy...and gain 50 pounds.
Well, for some reason, I don't like candy as much as I used too...
Oh no! I'm growing old.— ;A; goodbye sweet tooth.

jneh signing out.
p.s can't wait for reading week!
