So, to sum up my past few days...
First, yesterday we had our thanksgiving dinner with the family. ;D
mmm, pumpkin pie.
Oh, and my grandparents leave for Korea in exactly 6 days D;
Ahh— so lucky *pack me in your bags and take me with you!*
So, the story behind this surprise trip. My uncle...well, I guess half uncle? He has a pretty well paying job back in Korea, and one day he calls them and asks if they want to come to Korea; and the following week, sent tickets...
;O an all expense round trip.
And now, they're going away for 2 months.
Yea, I know. I wish I was going too. hehe~
But they deserve this trip, they haven't seen their brothers/ or sisters for the past 30 years.
Crazy eh? 30 years, separated from your siblings...
It breaks my heart to think about that.
On Saturday, we went apple picking and of course, fishing.
The majority of the fish we caught were catfish, and one bass! —which i caught—
You can watch me tormenting my dog with a catfish; i know, i'm terrible ;D
Well, anyways, where we went fishing, they had this REALLY tall dam, and to get up to the top; we had to climb a billion steps...well, I'm exaggerating... But at least 80 steps. =] And I caught 2; but mind you, I caught a bass!
— yea, I'm proud of my bass —
And what's more fun after fishing when you go apple-picking? ;D
We went to a small apple orchard in Milton And we picked a lot, and I mean A LOT of Cortland apples. Which by the way, taste sooo good.
Then, we bought a pumpkin pie, and off we went to enjoy the beauty of nature.
This is me picking apples~

- 2nd picture: on an abandoned railroad track
- 3rd picture: our dog; Coco drinking very dirty water...but it looks like he enjoyed it.

‘Tis the gift to be simple, ‘tis the gift to be green—especially on Thanksgiving. Sure, the holiday involves traveling ten hours for a single meal, and eating more in one sitting than the human belly was designed to hold. All flowers remind us of nature’s bounty, but not all flower companies are created eco-equal—most spray their crops with heavy loads of pesticides. The nasty chemicals probably won’t end up in your digestive system—though carnations and chrysanthemums are tasty—but they will end up polluting soil and water.
